Spitbraai Catering FAQ

Do you travel?
Yes, we travel anywhere. Spitbraai Guys services the Garden Route and can travel to your event location. Contact us with your venue or location so we can discuss your requirements.
Do you spit pork?
Yes, we do. Although lamb spitbraai is our speciality, we also offer pork spitbraai.
How long does a spitbraai take?
We need at least four hours to perform the spitbraai properly. Please keep this preparation and cooking time in mind when planning your event schedule.
What happens to the leftover food?
At the end of the service, all leftover food is transferred into your containers.
Do you cater for less than 30 people?
Yes. You do not need a large event to enjoy a Spitbraai Guys spitbraai. Contact us to discuss your smaller gathering.
How do I get a quote?
Simply contact us with details of your event, including the date, location, number of guests and type of function. We will then discuss your catering requirements with you.
Is crockery and cutlery included?
Crockery and cutlery are included in all course options except Option M4 — You bring we braai. The menu notes and hire charges apply where relevant.
How far in advance should I confirm my booking?
The current menu states that a 50% deposit is required to secure the booking and function date, with final payments, guest numbers and menu options confirmed at least 7 days before the function.
